Fish Vision worked closely with CentrePlus to create a custom built Drupal website to showcase their breeding program and the genetics information of their sales rams and semen sires. The website integrates with a Rest API created by Sheep Genetics to pull in all of the relevant animal traits and breeding line going back four generations within the breeding program. It not only pulls in data from the animals Centre Plus breed but is also able to display information from any animal breeder
Drupal allows content to be easily uploaded and managed, it is also highly adaptable in regards to integrations. Each season the team is able to upload their sales lists in CVS format and the website will then call the API details of each sheep from the Sheep Genetics database, as sales are made the list can be re-uploaded and the website will reflect these changes.
